More than 100 years after his death, few people understand the dark mind of Giorgi Rasputin. On July 16th 1918, the Romanovs and their children were shepherded into a dungeon to face execution by firing squad. When the smoke cleared, they realized the execution had gone horribly, horribly wrong. What brought the Romanovs to that blood-curdling fate? For the young princesses, it had a lot to do with Rasputin.
