Soon after, the activity escalated. Lou reported being attacked in his sleep, waking with chest pains and scratch marks. This violent encounter convinced everyone involved that the presence was no harmless spirit and posed a serious threat.
The Warrens Enter The Case
After the violent incident, Donna was advised to contact Ed and Lorraine Warren, well-known paranormal investigators. They were known for examining cases involving unexplained disturbances and alleged hauntings, and were asked to assess what was happening inside the apartment.
