A lot of the time, feeling second-hand embarrassment for somebody else can be even more cringe-worthy than a firsthand mishap.

There’s witnessing an uncomfortable moment, and then there’s the full-body cringe that comes with experiencing second-hand embarrassment.

Horrible bosses. Cringe-inducing parents. God-awful dates. Shudder to these shocking people who have absolutely no self-awareness.
