Martin named him after the former New York Giants quarterback, Phil Simms, whose number is 11 (“one one” or “win wun”).

37. Rhaegar Targaryen

Rhaegar Targaryen was the oldest brother of everyone’s favorite Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen.

He was meant to take over the Iron Throne when his father, The Mad King Aerys, died, before he was killed in the Sack of King's Landing during Robert's Rebellion.
