Apollo 11 was the spaceflight which first took astronauts to the moon. The lunar module portion of the rocket, called Eagle, landed on the Moon on July 20, 1969... four days after it had left Earth. Astronauts Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong were onboard, and became the first people ever to walk on the Moon.
