When she was just a teenager, Demi was so addicted to drugs, she couldn’t even go more than an hour without a hit, and she only hit rock bottom after a violent incident on a private tour plane. Demi got in trouble with her management for partying the night before, and thinking it was someone on the tour who informed them, she allegedly threatened her backup dancers, insisting she’d find out who ratted on her. Nick Jonas was there at the time, and recalls thinking they “were going to get sued.” Nick added, “It was bad […] I was angry, because a week before I pleaded with her to confide in me. We talked on the plane for two hours.”
Ultimately, Demi wound up punching one of the dancers in the face. After the altercation, she ended up leaving the tour to join a treatment facility.
